Postulaciones Young Researcher Award del IACS

Estimados Directores y Directoras, en esta oportunidad nos comunicamos con Uds. para solicitarles nominaciones para el premio al Investigador Joven que otorgará The International Association of Catalysis Communities IACS. Los nominados deben tener menos de 35 años y un trabajo aceptado en el Congreso Internacional de Catálisis 18th ICC a realizarse en Lyon durante el corriente año. Les solicitamos envíen sus postulantes hasta el 15 de febrero a las 20 hs, a este mail. Las mismas deben contener (en idioma inglés): 1) Nombre y edad del postulante; 2) datos académicos (Doctorando, posdoc, becario, etc.); 3) título y código del trabajo aceptado en el 18th ICC; 4) breve descripción de las motivaciones para postularse.
La Comisión Directiva seleccionará 4 nominaciones que serán presentados por nuestros delegados al IACS.
Más abajo, se transcriben brevemente las características del premio y el reglamento de la postulación:
· or young researchers below 35 age at the time of ICC2024 meeting (no distinction if before or after PhD); they need to have presented an abstract that has been accepted to ICC2024
· 50 young researchers will be granted for an amount covering the registration fee (early registration), that will be paied directly to ICC2024 organizers (they will receive a code for free registration)
· the young researchers will receive an additional certificate given during an award ceremony in Lyon
· the selection will be made in two steps: IACS Council delegates (one per country) will made 3-4 max nominations (from their country, and in ranking order), and then a Board Committee will made the selection. The nomination should contains 1) name and age of the nominee, 2) status (PhD, post-doc etc.), 3) title and code of the accepted abstract, 4) few lines of motivations for each nominee. Based on indications received, a ranking will be made, giving priority to PhD students and from less favoured regions or with less participation to ICC.
