El 15 de Mayo de 1969 es un día emblemático de los ciclos de lucha
universitaria por la libertad y por la defensa de un proyecto de
universidad articulada a formas sociales no elitistas. La muerte del
estudiante correntino Juan José Cabral, el 15 de mayo de 1969, acelera los
principales procesos políticos de la época: el correntinazo, el rosariazo y
el cordobazo. Hechos que muestran la centralidad de la lucha universitaria
en una sociedad que buscaba formas de vida no autoritarias y más
igualitarias.
Esta emblemática fecha es el símbolo de nuestros reclamos y luchas
sectoriales,
y nos compromete con proyectos de universidad y sociedad más justos. Estos
exigen un trabajo articulado con el movimiento
estudiantil y los movimientos sociales en general que luchan por lo mismo.
La docencia universitaria conmemora hoy su día en el contexto de lucha por el
salario y por mejorar las condiciones de trabajo; una lucha que no olvida
ni claudica el legado de aquellas luchas históricas.
Saludamos a las y los Docentes Universitarios en nuestro día y nos convocamos
a continuar la senda en la defensa de nuestros derechos.
